The Cat Prince

Chapter One

Morris was one of three kittens born to Sabrina and Dark Star. On the first day after his eyes opened, he boldly went on his first adventure. It wasn’t far, just to the edge of the straw bales that provided the hiding place for his mother, Sabrina, his two sisters, Alexi, and Jenni. A beautiful story!

The Sparrow King

Watching the other birds, listening to their songs, and their chirping, while a ten years old boy waits. Tucked up among branches and leaves. It was early, he knew they flew with the sun rising. Against the blue, cloudless day, he watched for the glitter of gray or red with white. For his birds, his faithful followers. Wait for the remaining silence.

In the distance, the sun reflects off white wings, and soon the sky fills with hundreds of sparrows. He smiles, knowing soon his sparrows will surround him. Remaining perfectly still and making no noises, he waits.

The sparrows landed in the trees around him. Some were within inches of him. They sang for him, and he closed his eyes, lost in the song. He reclaimed the peace and the feeling of being loved.  He feels their admiration and the feeling that he is the sparrow king.

Catching up with my writing.

Hope to start my writing again once my house has been sorted out, just a few more things to do now before next week, so hopefully I can start on my editing again and maybe without any interruptions this time so I can finally finish this book.

This year has been a bit of another setback so still not finished my book due to me breaking my arm this time, so that’s half the year gone and still very busy with appointments and other things going on, I am waiting for the time so I can start once more to try and finish this book, the frustrating thing is that the book is nearly finished it’s just the finishing touches that need to be done.

I am not going to give up even though life has kicked me in the teeth, will get up again so hopefully this time …
